"Maybe more than a little," she confesses, watching his expression change in his amusement, his curiosity. They might have started to speak in mere hypotheticals, but she's coming to find that some of her answers are laced in a more genuine tone. There's feelings at work here, and she's somehow been surprised by them, not entirely positive when they managed to spring up.
