I shift a little to make things comfier for her, lying flat on my back with my head propped up on a feather pillow. It's a better arrangement than it was on the plane, where I maybe nodded off for minutes at a time out of sheer exhaustion from the roar of the jets. I don't do flights well. Between the bombardment of sound, the recycled air, and the tasteless food, it's like a hell especially designed for me.
