Ellen's not going to argue with him on this, even though she's not completely convinced that his hand isn't still actively bleeding. But she glances over at the other woman and nods, once, a small inclination of her head to confirm that it's what they need.
The radiation question is what momentarily takes her aback. But she's not given the opportunity to really ask him about it, and so she simply looks to the doctor for her answer.
